Not a day goes by without someone thinking they're being incredibly original by making the predictable comparison of something that's associated with death to gun homicides.
When carrots, knives, cars, bathtubs, Hostess Ding Dongs and doctors are routinely used as a method of mass murder Americans should start worrying about them. Until then we should treat them like the false equivalents they are and keep the conversation squarely where belongs -- on guns.
False gun analogies serve no purpose other than to stop the conversation we need to have about the "well regulated" part of the Second Amendment.
