Ban Double Standard in Age Requirements for Under Age Graduates

Created by S.R. on February 19, 2014

Many students apply themselves thoroughly during their high school years to ensure early graduation. These students graduate high school before the age of 18, and begin college. Despite the fact that they hold a diploma, and are enrolled in college, they are not even considered for entry level positions or certain volunteer work. Numerous jobs will not even allow an educated minor to even begin to apply for the position, but they will allow a high school dropout over the age of 18 to apply and be considered. It is unfair for these responsible students who have worked so hard in school to advance greater in life, to not be allowed an equal opportunity; Whereas, any other person over the age of 18, despite their schooling is automatically granted a chance.
