This petition addresses the right to privacy as it applies to seeking employment and employment (the right to work). It supports the 5th amendment as employees and potential employees are obligated to submit bodily fluids as samples in the course of employment.
The current statutes are directly link to the war against drugs, implemented with the broadest brush possible. The policies go against the rights provided by the Declaration of Independence, the right to privacy.
Additionally, it supports an industry of corrupt Doctors and clinics. The policy does more harm in its very nature than the issue it tends to address.
This petition intends to generate a dialogue on a basic civil rights issue, the right to privacy.
