Ban the dumping of fracking wastewater in the Gulf of Mexico

Created by D.D. on October 03, 2016

The EPA is currently drafting a plan to allow oil and gas companies to dump unlimited amounts of fracking wastewater in the Gulf of Mexico. The contents of fracking wastewater has lead to fish kills and petrochemical companies have hidden or delayed releasing the chemicals used in fracking. To allow oil and gas companies to dump this wastewater in the Gulf of Mexico endangers a fragile ecosystem already still recovering from the Deepwater Horizon disaster.

This is a petition to ban the dumping of fracking wastewater in the Gulf of Mexico.
