It is plain to see that many of our elected officials don't under stand or have never read the Constitution of the United States of America due simply to the fact that they somehow believe that more gun laws are the answer. I could give numerous examples as to why gun laws don't work and never will but sadly I am limited on space. I will give two broad examples however. First how many gun control laws are there on the books and where do a vast majority of mass shootings take place? Secondly out of the numerous instances of armed civilians that have helped stop a mass shooting from getting too bad how many stay in the news for as long as all of the successful mass shooting?
