Employers do not need this information to make hiring decisions. It is a violation of our right to privacy. A background check and prior work history check is enough. It has nothing to do with a persons ability to do a job. People get laid off and go through hard times this should not stop them from getting jobs they are qualified for. They should not have to take lesser jobs and should be able to work and fix their credit and go on with their lives.
