There are currently 12 million convicted felons in the United States, I am one of them. Most of us get turned away when we apply for a job. Even if it's been years since our conviction date. I even have a college degree with a wonderful great point average, but it still doesn't matter. I am currently unemployed because of my criminal record. I am asking anyone who see's this as a problem, or family members of convicted felons that see this as a problem to please sign this petition. Make it where employers cannot deny a person a job because they are a convicted felon.
