FaceBook is illegally asking users to upload their government issued ID's to their unsecured system just to “verify accounts.” This practice should be illegal as it violates people's privacy. It also opens the door for FaceBook to commit identify theft crimes with the illegal information they are obtaining from users. A law needs to be enacted to prevent such behavior from FaceBook, or any other social network sites to protect people. Thank you.
