A new ban on firearms will not be effective as it has shown in the past; but creating an entity involving healthcare and law enforcement which will provide with help to family members of a psychologically disturbed, will assure the possibility of preventing them to go to extremes without letting them go unnoticed, when their family is debating as to where to look for very much needed help. While that would be a solution that would take longer to be set in place, it would be a good idea that every teaching institution throughout our country could count with the protection of armed security or with police officers assigned, which will create jobs that are much needed during this economy harsh times.
