Ban fracking across the U.S.

Fracking, or hydraulic fracturing, is a trendy, but hazardous way of obtaining natural gas. Each fracking project can require 8 million gallons of water, and, in return, contaminates our drinking water with Lead, Mercury, Uranium, and other toxic chemicals, some undisclosed. Oklahoma accepted that fracking was responsible for an increasing rate of earthquakes, and yet, a day later, a bill was passed preventing towns from regulating drilling. Oil companies have tainted our water and now taint our government. Numerous countries from Belgium to Bulgaria have banned fracking. Why don't we? All great things in American history have been a result of people coming together for what they believe in. So come together now to end fracking. Let's make today a better tomorrow.
