Ban fracking under the Ohio River

Created by B.T. on December 16, 2014

Approximately 5 million people get their water from the Ohio River. If fracking is allowed under the river in West Virginia, the effects could be felt throughout all of the states that the Ohio River runs through. Fracking is dangerous not only to the health and safety of those living near fracking sites, but any potential chemicals leaked into the river have no where to go but downstream, affecting millions of people. Fracking is also an environmental danger, adding to the effects of global warming.
