The Internet is for porn, fine; but let it be for porn that people pay for. In the old days, if we wanted porn, we had to buy it, or find it in the sandwash behind Pete's house. That's the way it should be.
Today's kids get way too much for free on the Internet as it is; music, movies, experimental pharmaceuticals, term papers.... where does it end? It should end at porn.
I'm not suggesting that porn be banned outright, or that anything is wrong with consenting adults watching it, or even that there's anything wrong with Anthony Weiner sending pictures of his penis to women who actually want to see it (of which there are none); it's just that porn isn't for kids, and shouldn't be free.
Do us all a favor, ban free porn. While you're at it, a close look at the VMAs might be in order, too.
