All the time fur farms are killing and housing animals inhumanely so people can wear their furs. Animals are tortured and kept in small pens, with horrible living conditions, often forced to eat their cage mate for food (once it has been stripped of fur). The way these animals are killed is absolutely horrible, instead of sedation they are most often hit against the ground, electrocuting themselves when biting a metal rod in front of them, or just hanging there alive while someone rips their fur and skin off. So how would you like it if someone peeled youre skin off and threw you in the dirt to die later on? There is no need for fur farms when faux fur works exactly the same, is less expensive, and does not hurt innocent animals in the process.
