We need to come together to ban genetically modified organism farming in the U.S. Because of the potential harmful implications, over 60 countries have already banned GMO's. GMO has been found to produce cancer and other harmful effects in lab studies.
The U.S. currently doesn't require labeling or mention of GMO's. It is very difficult if not impossible to determine if the food we eat is organic. We have likely been eating GMO food sources since the late 1990's. This is a process that has not been deemed safe for human consumption. For lack of a better term, we have become lab rats.
We need to put a stop to this right now. Something that Europe did over 15 years ago.
