Every day, students are given piles of homework that take them hours upon hours to complete. On top of the work given, they are expected to study 30+ minutes each class (3.5). Now, lets add in the factor of extracurricular activities taking about 1-3 hours, plus driving to and from. School is already going past the minimum 6 hours requirement, and going for 6.5-7 hours long. So 7 classes (for me at least) times 30 minutes each is 3 1/2 hours. Now I'll guide you through the math on the short time frame. 6.5+3.5+3.5 is 12 hours on non stop work. Why?! Now let's go through this: 3.5+3.5+2 is 9 hours of things after school. Homework, studying, and sports. I get home at 2:30. That puts me at 11:30 with no breaks for food. Give me a break, will you?
