Create a federal ban on gun free school zones.Requiring concealed carry permit holders be allowed to carry on any school property assuming they have made the principal of the school aware and provided proof that they are a current permit holder. The principal of the should only have the right deny the request to carry if the person does not have business on school property(i.e. child enrolled in school, not employed by the school, etc.) No person who has not made the principal aware of their intent to carry on school property should do so. This is about protecting our children not a second amendment issue.This will eliminate our children being "fish in a barrel" targets. We cannot rely on police officers who may be immediately available to protect our most precious possesions!!!
