The second amendment did not take modern weapons into consideration. No one needs an assault rifle or a semi-automatic weapon, unless they're fighting for the Armed Forces. We want to protect the people of our country, by preventing idiots who think that the second amendment should be extended to such violent weapons, from ever putting a petition up in front of the federal government, ever. This is a step in the right direction for mental health.
