Starting in 1975 an industry of toxic chemicals that cause cancer in humans was born in the name of fire safety. The truth is that these retardants don't even work, and produce a more toxic smoke during actual fires. This issue affects almost everyone, large or small, bigwig or small Tim, republican or democrat. These chemicals cause major illness, and have been PROVEN to cause cancer. Public safety is a major issue, and this petition would stop it.
