Enough is enough. According to the Washington Post, as of October 2nd 2015, we’ve had 274 days and 294 mass shootings. We want to join the ranks of the UK, Australia, Japan, Canada, Scandinavia, France and the many other countries who regulate gun ownership to massively reduce gun violence in our own country. By proving need and competence, individuals may be licensed to own certain firearms, but these folks should be the thoroughly vetted exceptions, not the rule.
