We call on the Obama Administration to introduce legislation to ban the possession of handguns in all fifty states. A handgun is a hazard to the public health--a product designed only to kill humans, and it has no place in a civilized society. Twenty children have died so that Americans may have handguns, and this is an intolerable price to pay.
Handguns should only be carried by law enforcement officers.
