Due to the 9 killed and 20 hurt in an Oregon bus crash, and the 2 recent incidents at train stations in NY, we propose that the U.S. Government ban any buses that hold more than 10 persons and a top speed of 35 mph. Also, trains need to be limited to 10 persons per car and a top speed of 35 mph with a limit of 5 mph when within 1 mile of any station.
Also, more intense background checks need to be made on every operator of a bus or train, especially checking into their mental health.
Because of the bus crash, the US need to ban travel on any ice or snow covered road. The TSA should be responsible to immediately close any road that is icy or snow covered. Also, walls and locked doors need to be installed at all train stations and doors not open until the train is completely stopped.
