Ban "High Frequency Trading" super computers that put our financial system at risk and fleece long term investors.

Created by S.D. on December 21, 2012

High Frequency Trading uses super computers to skim money off of market inefficiencies by making thousands of trades/minute that do nothing more than enrich a powerful minority at the expense of long term investors like 401K participants. They add no value to the market but instead put our long-term economic interests at risk through the increased volatiility they inject into the market, their concentration of wealth to the privledged few, and their buddying up to exchanges by "co-locating" their computers at the exchanges to increase their trading speeds by milliseconds. Put a stop to them now before we wind up reading about how they helped pull our markets down in the not so distant future!
