Ban holding orcas in captivity.

Created by B.W. on August 17, 2015

Films like Blackfish and numerous articles have made the public realize what veterinarians and scientists have been saying for years: orcas, or killer whales, are massive, highly-intelligent creatures who should not be kept in captivity, especially for the amusement of humans. Water parks like Sea World should not be allowed keep them in captivity. This captivity is not only dangerous and inhumane for these animals who naturally live in the ocean. It is also dangerous for humans as several trainers have been killed by orcas and many more injured. This type of cruelty is not something that should be condoned in a developed, civilized country.
