"Honey Boo Boo" follows the family of a six-year-old child forced to participate in pageants by her mother. Multiple articles have been published by psychological experts noting the dangers to the future self-image of the participants and viewers.
In addition, airing this show promotes the family's exceeding unhealthy lifestyle including obesity and poor dietary, exercise and sleep habits.
