Ban the honor bestowed upon those who choose to sing our National Anthem in any manner other than the original writing

The National Anthem of our country is proudly played prior to the start of many events. Unfortunately, it has become an opportunity for the singer to showcase themselves rather than take pride in having been chosen to sing it. Those chosen for such an honor should sing it as it was written and in no other way. Those who choose to make the National Anthem their own and not sing it as it were intended should be banned from having the honor to do so again.
