A couple days ago, President Obama signed off that horse slaughter would be legal in the United States. Meaning horses can be killed and slaughtered anywhere. Even right outside of towns and neighborhoods. Horses used to be transported to Mexico from the US. Horse slaughtering is needed for population control in some issues, but there are people sending off racehorses that are champions, and slaughtering them. It's sad, and it's inhumane. I am a horseback rider, and It hurts me even more. It just shouldn't be allowed. Why should slaughtering of any kind be allowed in the US, or anywhere. What did these horses ever do to you?
