I believe that hunting any animal should be banned in every National Park across the country. National parks are supposed to be a sanctuary for the nation's last remaining wild animals. This can't be so if hunters are allowed to gun down these creatures. America's wildlife belong to all Americans, most of whom do not hunt. It is unfair to these people to have their wildlife in their parks slaughtered for fun.
Many hunters claim that they are solving the overpopulation crisis. In reality, they are causing it by killing predators, leading to an abundance of prey. Plus, these animals have little habitat left. A more efficient method of wildlife control would be trap/vasectomy/release. Shooting the animals would just make more room for new offspring.
