Ban The Import of Halal Meat

The methods of halal slaughtering are inhumane beyond belief. Animals have their throats slit so they are skinned alive and bleed to death while flailing and trying to cry out for help. This is inhumane and if it can not be internationally banned then we must not allow it to enter our country, because the animals that have died slowly and painfully out of superstition certainly do not match the description "Land of the free, and home of the brave." Those animals died against their will, scared and in great, great pain. I am thirteen years old and am a vegetarian after discovering what goes on to the animals which I eat. This is not the world I want to grow up in so things must change. I urge you to sign this petition and boycott the torture animals while awaiting death.
