Ban the incineration of aborted babies and other human tissue in waste to energy plants in the U.S.

Waste to energy (WTE) facilities in the U.S. incinerate trash, converting it to electricity. It was recently reported in the news that a WTE plant in Oregon was found to be burning discarded human tissue in their facility. This included aborted babies, amputated limbs and surgically removed cancerous tissue. This practice shows a stunning disregard for the value of human life.
This petition asks the federal government to ban the incineration of human tissue in WTE facilities and to require WTE facilities to know whether human tissue is included in the medical waste they process. We also ask the government to investigate if the practice of burning human tissue is also happening in other WTE facilities in the U.S.
