Ban the Inclusion of Protected Apps on Smartphones.

Created by S.D. on January 25, 2012

Every smartphone sold by a wireless service provider comes with protected apps. These protected apps are different from other apps in that they cannot be removed. This practice hurts the American consumer with data charges, limiting storage on the phone, consuming phone resources and encouraging the taking of actions which compromise the security of their phones.

It would be beneficial to the average American citizen if a law was passed mandating that it be made possible for any app installed on a phone be deleted.
