Enact a ban on indoor smoking at the federal level in all types of buinesses. The types will include but are not limited to for-profit corporations, non-profit corporations, government buildings, casinos, bars, restaraunts, hotels, nursing homes, and hospitals. The only exemptions will be private residences and clubs that are not open to the general public and have no employees. Although many states have already enacted such a ban, a law at the federal level will bridge the gap created by states with weak legislative bodies such as WV. This law would be intended to protect the non-smokers from the potentially fatal chemicals in cigarette smoke, not to opress smokers.
