Please be aware that comedians make extremely insulting and triggering jokes about rape and sexual assault. This petition supports that there should be a law that makes comedy clubs, TV shows, movies, and etc.review a comedian's* content to make sure there is nothing in it that insults rape and/or sexual assault.
Rape and sexual assault jokes are not funny. Although we cannot stop people from making rape jokes during their daily lives, we can prevent the media from using rape as "funny/ humorous content". Rape and sexual assault are not topics that should be used for that.
