The pipeline has been marketed to us as a job creator, it will only create 35 permanent positions. They will employ less than 4,000 people to build the pipeline, but those jobs will not last, is our future worth a years salary? The oil will not even benefit most Americans, as it is an inferior product and will be sold to developing nations with no environmental policies, namely China. We need permanent energy solutions, not to choke the last bit of oil out of our beautiful continent.
