Ban the kidnapping, torture and use of Wild Animals in Circuses across the US

Created by C.M. on August 07, 2013

Kidnapping and torturing exotic animals and forcing them to perform demeaning tricks is no longer acceptable.

Elephants, lions, tigers and others are still paraded around the United States in circuses. Baby elephants are kidnapped and torn from their families. Torture devices such as bull hooks are used constantly to poke, prod and rip these animals to pieces for our entertainment. Videos of this abuse can be seen all over the internet and Youtube.

Circus animals live in appallingly cramped conditions, cannot exhibit natural behavior and are often subject to brutal treatment. According to Born Free, every major circus in the United States has been cited for animal welfare violations.
No entertainment is worth such cruelty. Tell the US government to keep animals out of the circuses.
