Ban knives long enough or sharp enough to cause harm.

We the people demand the government take steps to protect us from knife violence. Thousands of people are killed or injured by knives of all types every year. Something must be done to curb this violence. In light of the recent progress to curb gun violence, it seems logical that knives too should be regulated. Citizens cannot be trusted with weapons that enable them to run rampant across college campuses cutting and stabbing other students.
