Ban Lobbying

For many years, lobbying has made our country into less of a democracy and more of an oligarchy. Most lobbying organizations are funded by the wealthy and corporations instead of the American people, and allow for those individuals to have much more influence over our government than the average American citizen does. Right now, Congress is ignoring issues that need attention because of well-funded groups who have large amounts of influence over them. The actions of lobbying groups undermine the United States of America's status as a republic. Let us, the people, demonstrate that our voices need to be heard. We can start by signing this petition and sharing it with others so that our government can represent the will of the people as it was originally intended to.
