All politicians should be free from pressures of lobbyists trying to buy their votes. This is the single greatest threat to our Democracy. The only way to restore true power to the people, is to actually put the power back in the hands of the people, not the lobbyists. This would include all forms of lobbying, including direct and indirect forms. This should include the restoration the Fairness Doctrine and making it a law as well.
