Ban the manufacture of 6 pack ring yokes in the United States

Each day, tens if not hundreds of thousands of six pack rings end up in garbage cans across the United States. These plastic rings are a non-biodegradable product that threaten our planet's Eco-system and endanger the lives of countless species of wildlife and marine life, not to mention the dangers they pose to small children. These ring yokes are a choking and strangulation hazard; however, we can avoid these risks and set a precedent for other nations by banning the use of this product in the United States. With all the advancements we've made in technology in recent years, it amazes me that we've been unable to create a more Eco friendly product, or develop an alternative to using this deadly product. We are becoming more conscience of protecting our environment, let's set an example
