ban misleading information or labels on food products.

Created by A.B. on December 09, 2014

Have you ever picked up a grocery items over another because of health claims on the label? Don't worry your not the only one, about 56% of consumer do. For example company's will label "natural" on foods but in real life it is actually filled with preservatives. Incorrect labeling confuses buyers and makes them think that the things they consume are healthy, this is not the consumers fault, it is the companies fault because of misleading labels. This needs to stop because people are becoming more obese in the country and we don't need anymore misleading labels to help the obesity rate to grow. If we stop it now, people will make better decisions on what to eat and it will hopefully decrease the obesity rate in the country.
