Mosquito-spraying in my county uses nerve poisons (organophosphates) akin to the chemical weapons banned in Syria. Though I can opt out, the "vaporizing" of the spray residues "drifts" onto my yard and organic gardens,harming my health and food safety. Mosquito spraying violates label instructions (a federal offense) warning not to contaminate food, water, or bees.. EPA sites on "drift" and "runoff" verify that all pesticides leave residues which end up in our water supplies, resulting in "Contaminated Fish, "Harmful Algal Blooms," and "Unsafe Drinking Water" -- all huge threats in my county & elsewhere.
