I am a firearms owner and I own several AR15 type rifles. I believe we should halt online sales of ammunition and certain types of parts used internally on a rifle to make it fuctional. Currently you only have to purchase the lower half of an AR-15 type rifle from a licensed dealer . In some cases you can purchase the lower have as a casting and mill it yourself and build an unregistered firearm.The Barrel, Bolt, trigger mechanisms can be purchased online. This should be halted immediately. Bring ammunition sales and parts sales back to the local gun stores. People who manage gun stores know their customers. This in turn puts a face to certain products. If the nut in Newtown would have gone to a gunstore to buy ammo someone may have noticed there was something wrong and refused the sale.
