StubHub and other ticket-scalping sites stand in the way of making entertainment affordable for all but the wealthiest of Americans.
Many people want to support their favorite sports team or music group, but can't afford the prices charged by online retailers using StubHub to skirt the anti-resale laws most states have in place.
Not only do these sites gouge average people for many times the face value of tickets, but then that money does not go to the performer - it goes into the pocket of someone who knowingly bought tickets they fully intended to resell at a massive profit.
Please consider mandating some kind of regulation over these sites (and look past the tens of thousands of dollars they pump into lobbying efforts) and impose a percentage cap or ban them entirely.
