In 2009 33,862 people died due to fatal accidents. An unknown number of criminals have used cars to help commit crimes and get away. Private citizens and criminals can easily purchase a vehicle and use them commit crimes. Any vehicle can be used to kill many people! Cars may be used in vehicular homicide, insurance fraud, aide in theft, and transportation of criminals to and from crime scene. In 1995, Timothy McVeigh, use a truck to transport a bomb that killed 168 people. Vehicles have also been used in war in similar fashion to kill our troops. Cars kill more people than guns do. Criminals can not own guns so why can they own cars? Please help me ban the use of cars.
