Ban ostracism in federally-funded science. End any discrimination arising from "We don't like you."

Created by S.T. on January 05, 2015

Ostracism must have no place in science. Ask the NSF and NASA to set up policies guaranteeing the opportunity for participation to all those who have substantially contributed to a project, without discrimination against any member for any arbitrary reason, especially if any leaders simply do not like a person. Ensure that protection against discrimination be for all scientists, including all minority and majority groups.
Require that encouragement of participation and opportunity be a guiding principle in the performance and presentation of all work that has any federal support, whether federal funding, resources, collaboration, or use of federal property.
Challenge arbitrarily handing out group invitations as privileged prerogatives of Directors.
Promote participation freedom!
