Ban out-of-school suspension as a punishment for cutting class in all public elementary, middle, and high schools.

It simply makes no sense to punish a student who skips class to then go home and miss more class. It takes more work to sit down and reevaluate a student's drive to learn. Many times students have outside reasons for committing truancy. Blindly sending the student home is a wastebasket approach to helping. We petition the government to address this glaring idiocy in educational status quo and develop a mandated better approach to dealing with students who miss class voluntarily. This isn't 1954; let's be better.
