Ban "outdoor" cats

Created by M.A. on May 29, 2015

Cats are popular pets around the world, but these cute cuddly creatures do have a dark side. There are two kinds of cats: indoor and outdoor cats. Outdoor cats have been causing multiple problems. Without the supervision of their owners, they are free to kill all kinds of wildlife, breed profusely, filling animal shelters, and putting the cat itself at risk of becoming road kill. Up to 3.8 BILLION birds are killed ANNUALLY by cats in the US alone. 1.4 MILLION cats are put down ANNUALLY due to overcrowding at shelters. This can be solved, if cats are kept outside, the number of strays will drastically decrease, there will be a drastic decrease in unintentional breeding. Our wildlife will be safe from these cuddly killers. If anything, it should be considered neglect to keep outdoor cats.
