ban padding politicians pockets by big companies, salary paid for work rendered no activity that is conflict of interest

Created by B.C. on May 31, 2013

We find it very offensive that certain members of our government, can openly receive large payments by big companies (lobbyists) while in official government capacity in addition to salary paid by the American people by way of taxes monies. At the time members (official government position) files a yearly tax return, monies claimed outside of their (tax supported salary) should be scrutinized and audited by the IRS and noted to the American people with laws enacted or attached that would be applicable determining if; (gift, contribution, outside income) is acceptable, in compliance of the law or in favor to that entity (company's lobbyists) by way of special interest and/or a conflict of job description, the parameters of ethics or democratic process to which elected. We do not accept it
