Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti has nominated Bruce Jenner to light the Olympic Cauldron for the 2024 Summer games, should the event be held in Southern California.
Being asked to light the cauldron carries great prestige, and Garcetti can’t think of a better candidate to embody what our nation stands for on a global scale.
The reason I submit this is two fold :
1. The person Bruce Jenner NO LONGER EXISTS, he has chosen to become a women named Caitlyn Jenner.
2. Contrary to the news outlets and cable tv shows promoting Bruce Jenners' transgender change as "heroic", the silent majority of America does NOT agree, and does NOT feel this HONOR belongs to the person once known as Bruce Jenner.
