To many petitions on here are asking for the impeachment of elected officials for reasons other than violations of the law. People do not understand that impeachment is a formal process in which an official is accused of unlawful activity, the outcome of which, depending on the country, may include the removal of that official from office as well as criminal or civil punishment. To many people think that they can just impeach someone because they do something they don't agree with.
I think there should be a law where anybody who makes stupid petitions like those described above should be tracked down and forced to spend a semester in a middle school level civics class
