Ban Photoshop and editing on model and celebrity body advertisement.

Created by S.T. on April 28, 2014

Photoshoping models and celebirity bodies for advertisement ads is one of the many reasons that teens develop eating disorders. One out of every one-hundred students suffer from eating disorders. Teens develop the image of "Hollywood Ideal" and believe that girls are supposed to be short and skinny, whereas guys are supposed to be athletic and muscular. Teens get this image from magazines, television and movies. The person on the cover of the ad or in the television show or movie has been edited to look more appealing to the human eye. Only 5% of women in America have that kind of body naturally, but it seems like everyone has to look that way. Also, it was proven in a People Magazine survey that 80% of women surveyed said that women in movies made them feel bad about themselves.
